UKSF was selected to carry out the full installation of a brand-new CrossFit affiliate in West Wales. The aim was to create a fully equipped, community-driven facility built to support high-volume training, varied programming, and the needs of both new and experienced athletes.
The Concept
With a focus on functional movement, structured group sessions, and competition-level programming, CrossFit Pembrokeshire needed a durable setup with versatile training zones. A freestanding rig would form the core of the space, complemented by a wide range of CrossFit-specific equipment.
Concept
UKSF supplied and installed:
-
20mm rubber flooring throughout the gym for safety, grip, and shock absorption
-
A freestanding CrossFit rig, built to support pull-ups, barbell work, rings, and class flow
-
Olympic barbells, bumper plates, and lifting platforms for strength work
-
Concept2 cardio machines (rowers, ski ergs, and bikes) for conditioning
-
GHD machines for posterior chain and core development
-
Ab mats and speed ropes to support midline work and skill development
-
Gymnastic rings, wall balls, kettlebells, and plyometric boxes
All equipment was selected for its performance, reliability, and relevance to CrossFit programming.
