Objective

Bear Walden CrossFit wanted to enhance their training space with a complete gym fit-out that aligned with the demands of their members and coaches. The goal was to create a facility that supports varied programming, encourages member growth, and reflects the gym’s strong brand identity.

Concept

UKSF partnered with Bear Walden CrossFit to design a premium functional fitness facility, tailored to the unique needs of a CrossFit affiliate. The space was created to support everything from daily WODs to strength cycles and Hyrox-style conditioning.

Key features included:

• 20mm performance gym flooring throughout the training area

• Custom CrossFit rig, colour-matched to Bear Walden’s branding

• Bespoke astro turf track, ideal for sled work and functional conditioning

• Olympic lifting platforms, bars, and bumper plates

• Versatile storage and training accessories to keep the space efficient and clutter-free

Install

Our in-house UKSF installation team delivered a full turnkey solution—from delivery and flooring to rig setup and turf install. Custom elements such as rig leg colours and turf branding were coordinated to ensure a cohesive and professional finish that aligned with Bear Walden’s aesthetic.

Finish

The outcome is a purpose-built functional fitness facility that supports CrossFit classes, open gym training, personal coaching, and competition prep. Bear Walden CrossFit now offers:
