Full Performance Gym Equipment & Flooring Package

We were tasked with creating a complete quote for the supply and installation of a new small group and personal training studio. The facility needed to cater for several different styles of training while maintaining the feel of a premium, purpose-built performance gym.

The brief centred around strength and conditioning equipment, Hyrox training equipment, boxing and conditioning, with dedicated areas for each while maintaining enough flexibility for coaches to run small group sessions.

Our proposal covered the complete facility, including 20mm rubber gym flooring, custom astro turf sled tracks, strength equipment, free weights, storage and commercial cardio equipment. This allowed the client to work with one supplier for the key elements of the gym fit-out and installation.

Concept

Strength, Conditioning & Hyrox Training

A major part of the concept was creating a striking Hyrox-style training area running through the centre of the gym. Two 15m astro turf tracks formed the centrepiece of the facility, providing a dedicated surface for sled pushes, sled pulls and functional conditioning exercises.

The gym astro turf was designed to sit flush with the surrounding 20mm rubber gym flooring, creating a seamless transition between the strength, functional fitness and sled training areas. This provided a professional finish while reducing raised edges between the different training surfaces.

For strength training, we supplied UKSF M1 Half Racks, Olympic barbells, rubber bumper plates and Ares adjustable benches, alongside dumbbells, kettlebells and a comprehensive range of strength & conditioning equipment.

The facility also required a strong cardiovascular offering. A combination of commercial running machines and Concept cardio equipment gives coaches the flexibility to incorporate running, rowing, cycling and conditioning work into both PT and group sessions.

Install

Complete Gym Installation in One Day

The entire gym installation was completed in just one day. It was a long installation for the UKSF team, with a substantial amount of flooring, equipment and cardio machines needing to be moved into position, assembled and finished before handover.

The team installed approximately 200m² of 20mm rubber gym flooring, carefully fitting the two 15m astro turf sled tracks flush with the surrounding flooring to create the seamless finish specified during the design stage.

One of the additional challenges was that the facility was not located on the ground floor. Every piece of gym equipment, flooring and cardio equipment had to be transported upstairs before the installation could begin.

Once everything was in position, our team assembled the strength and cardio equipment, completed the flooring and turf installation, positioned the storage systems and removed the packaging, leaving the facility ready for use.

Finish

A High-End Hybrid Performance Gym

The finished Bronson Hybrid Performance facility is a high-end performance gym designed specifically around personal training and small group coaching.

Combining strength & conditioning equipment, Hyrox training equipment, rubber gym flooring, astro turf sled tracks, Olympic weightlifting equipment and commercial cardio machines, the facility gives coaches the flexibility to deliver a wide variety of training from one space.

Members can move between traditional strength training, Olympic lifting, Hyrox-style sled work, functional fitness, cardiovascular conditioning and boxing, making the facility suitable for clients with a wide range of performance and fitness goals.

This project demonstrates how a carefully planned full gym installation can maximise a relatively compact training space. From the flush-mounted Hyrox astro turf tracks and 20mm rubber gym flooring to the UKSF M1 Half Racks, free weights, storage and cardio equipment, every element was selected to create a professional and versatile performance training environment.
